So what do you think of having these norn elites only usable in norn territory?

Also this is quite logical and simular to the way that lightbringer signet is only usable against certain foes, it kinda of keeps balance.

stupid idea is what it is. next ppl will want to limit luxon/kurzik skills to there territories, then limit the regular skills to there campaigns. Sounds so fun dont it. If you dont like them then dont use them its as simple as that.

UB may have some balance issues... (How you can use PvE and balance in the same sentence I don't know), but this idea wouldn't work.

The only solution to the rampant use of UB and the death of build creativity, which is what this game is about in the first place.

I actually suggested this, although the Luxon/Kurzick and Sunspear skills are by no means as overpowered as UB.

This means that you need to purposefully ignore the easier solution in order to enjoy the game.

Works fine in an offline game, not in a semi-persistent online one which supposedly has an "economy".

UB is a tool in my opinion specifically designed to appeal to; and allow players to play eotn with heros and henchmen without having to deal with intrecate skill balances and party builds. Nerf it and the run of the mill player wont buy eotn!

I feel sorry for all you builds that have become obsolete afther the release of ub!

You cant stand it that people dont need you anymore right?

How about that; run of the mill players farming uw and fow with no help from trapers, bonders, and all that other crap.

I say dont change a thing. The skill brings balance to the force!

erm...no

great idea...really good...so the norn area is small, meh; UB is way over-powered and so it makes PvE to easy and PuG'ing alot harder in areas like UW/FoW/DoA if you do not have a guild that specilises in said areas!
the other blessings are less OP'd...but this is a good idea and I must /signed*x10000000* I am opposed to UB so restricting it to a small area is inspired *bows to OP*

Why a new player should learn to use skills when he can use ursan blessing?
It need some different kind of nerf, but if it don't come, no problem for me

If you hate Ursan, don't use it, don't accept people that use it. Its overpoweredness has limits like every other skill. Limiting the Spirit elites to only Norn territory now, limiting all PvE skills a la Edification/Heart of the Norn to their respective territories later. The PvE skills are worth something because they can be used pretty much everywhere, though some are more effective in certain places (like Vanguard are vs. Charr).

And to let you know, I'm still able to run my SS build variants with zero trouble. I could even con a DoA group into letting me SS instead of Ursan if I wanted to. Just because YOU think that build creativity has gone down the tubes doesn't mean it has. Consider some of the things PUGs have dragged up in the past from being "build creative," then count the blessing that Ursan can be on a party leader.

Its a skill, I think I used it for the mission/quest. I have tried it on runs but wasnt that impressed with it. So what people are using it to farm areas. How is this different then them using some other set of skills? 55 still hasnt been nerfed.

By the way, who cares if UB is nerfed or not?
I dont personally use it, but for the folks that do, again, who cares? Why even ask for it to be nerfed?
Its not useable in PVP, so it doesnt effect skill building where it counts.
If PVE is made easier for some by using UB, god bless em and let em have at it.
This is inherantly whats wrong in the world today. People get an idea that something doesnt suit them the way it is, so they call out to have it changed to suit their idea of "proper" or "right".
If UB is overpowered to you, then fine, dont use it. Theres nothing in GW that forces you to use that skill.
But dont jump on the bandwagon for changing something just because.
Take a moment to take into account the desires of all the people that DO like UB as is and then really think about how them using UB affects you.
Does it affect you?
Probably not.
Would Nerfing UB make the game different for you?
Probably not.
So why request a change to something that probably wont affect you.
Will it affect the people that enjoy it?
Definately.
